The Diamond Knot Brewery and Ale House web site was completely redesigned and built from scratch in 1999 from the original website, which was built in frames by one of the owners of the brewery. The Website was designed around the navigation concept of a different background color for the four main sections, as well as the structual concept of the screen expanding to the full width of whatever browser was viewing the site.

The four main sections are "Our Brewery," "Our Pub," "Our Beers" and "Fun 'N Games." The "Brewery" section shows off the beer making part of Diamond Knot. The "Beers" section showcases all of the different beers that Diamond Knot makes. The "Pub" section shows different events and parts of the Ale House. The "Fun" section is just that - fun. A board game to play while enjoying beer. A video poker game where you play for beer tokens. An interactive, dynamically created page, where you can leave a beer joke, and read all of the jokes offered before you.

This website takes advantage of database driven webpages to allow visitors to sign up for a Brewery email newsletter. The Diamond Knot Web Site shows DHTML and Javascript in action. It shows flexible formatting, and color coordinated navigation. And it shows how to have fun with a web site.
